What motivates you to become a better golfer?
The constant need to get better. I’m always trying to get my game to be more consistent, to have a more stable swing and to have a lower scoring average.
What is your most memorable golfing moment so far?
I have quite a few. One of them was as an amateur when I played in the Iskandar Johor Open which was held at Royal Johor Golf Club, I think I shot 5-over the first day and then I needed a birdie on 18 to make the cut which was at even par I believe. I put the ball to about 15 feet and had a long downhill putt to make. When the ball dropped, I was elated. Another memorable moment was winning the Asian Tour Order of Merit as I was the first Malaysian to do so. One more moment that had an impact on me was representing Malaysia in the Olympics in Rio as well as in Tokyo.
