SHAH ALAM, 18 April 2024 – The Toyota Tour is thrilled to announce the upcoming Corolla Cross Cup, the second event of its prestigious golf series, set to take place from April 23rd to 25th at the esteemed Glenmarie GCC’s Garden Course.
The Corolla Cross Cup, won by Gavin Green at the Palm Garden GC last year, offers golf enthusiasts and sports aficionados three days of exhilarating competition amidst the picturesque backdrop of Glenmarie’s lush greens and stunning landscapes. The Corolla Cross Cup promises to deliver top-tier golfing action, featuring some of the most talented players from across the region vying for victory.

A total of 92 professionals and top amateurs have confirmed participation in the Corolla Cross Cup. Among them are renowned names such as 2023 Order of Merit winner Ervin Chang, now a full-time member on the Asian Tour, and past winners including Galven Green, the most recent champion at the Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy that took place in Saujana GCC in February.
Joining them will be esteemed players such as Daeng Rahman, Danny Chia, Nicholas Fung, Shahriffuddin Ariffin, Paul San, and Amir Nazrin, adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the event.
In addition to showcasing exceptional local golfing talents, the Corolla Cross Cup aims to foster community engagement and drive inclusivity. Through various initiatives and partnerships, the Toyota Tour remains committed to making a positive impact leveraging on the nation’s most innovative and socially responsible tournament.
Children can look forward to participating in an exclusive junior golf clinic by MST Golf Academy at the Glenmarie practice area with these professionals in attendance: Zia Izzuddeen, Umar Khushairi, Syahiran Syakir, and Sukree Othman. Scheduled on the afternoon of the official practice day on Monday, April 22nd, kids from ages six to 16 can learn from tour professionals while enjoying a memorable golf experience to hone their skills and character. Registration is free and open to members of the public.
