SENAI (JOHOR), 12 AUGUST 2024 – It was an evening of joy and laughter as 30 children from ages 6 to 17 participated in a fun-filled junior clinic organised by the Toyota Tour at the Palm Resort Golf & Country Club here yesterday, in conjunction with the prestigious Supra Cup that tees off tomorrow at the demanding Allamanda course.
The kids, who came from all over Johor Bahru, were treated to first-hand tutelage by professionals Ikhmal Basry, Syahiran Syakir, Afif Fathi and Nasrullah Zulkifli who is the newest winner on the Toyota Tour, having won the Hilux Cup last month.
Three game stations were created involving chipping, putting and hitting off the mats. Refreshments, in the form of assorted sandwiches, coffee, tea and orange cordial was provided for by Palm Resort GCC.
The kids, who were each given a Toyota Tour cap, had plenty of fun chasing down the professionals for autographs. The next Toyota Tour junior clinic will be held at the Royal Pahang Golf Club on Sept 22.
